I am Rita Frank, the Department Community Service Chairman for 2009-2010.  I am very proud to be serving on the “A Work of Heart” year and I look forward to a challenging yet rewarding year.  I also look forward to seeing all the work the Sisters in the Department of Illinois do in their communities.

Please look the program over as their have been some changes made, to match what the National Ladies Auxiliary is focusing on.  There are only two major categories; the Veterans Oral History Project and Make a Difference Day. 

The Department of Illinois is offering a special award for the most outstanding Make a Difference Day Project so please make sure you plan and promote your program early and then make sure you report it by the due date.
