Welcome to the new year of
communicating with our elected officials. This year the Legislative and VFW/PAC
programs have been combined. Both of the programs were established to protect
our veterans’ rights and to promote a strong military. The difference between
the two programs is:

Legislative influences the outcome of
legislation.
·
VFW – PAC influences the outcome of
elections.
This year through our many
letters, faxes, phone calls, e-mails and personal contacts with our elected
officials, I am sure that we can “Catch the Sprit in Serving Our Veterans”.
Our “Tradition of Caring”
will show when we hold our fundraising projects to help fund the VFW – PAC,
because as we all know, the VFW - PAC is solely funded by donations raised by
the VFW and Auxiliary.
