Hello Sisters, I am so excited to be Youth Activities Chairman for the Department this year. More precious than gold or diamonds, our youth is our greatest natural resource. Since 1935, The Ladies Auxiliary has worked with our future leaders, teaching and coaching about patriotism and Americanism.

Please keep in mind that any activity that your Auxiliary promotes for our youth can be reported, so if you sponsor a holiday party, present Flag Etiquette at the schools or anything involving children, include that on your reports.

National has incorporated Patriotic Art and Junior Girls Unit into the Youth Activities program. These are now part of Department Youth Activities.

The Junior Girls are our future VFW Ladies Auxiliary Members. Let us mentor them so they can be our strong leaders of tomorrow. Our Junior Girl Units do the same programs and pay the same obligations that the Auxiliary does. Let us help them have a successful year by supporting and helping them in whatever they undertake.
