Welcome to the 2010-2011 “The Cardinal Rule – Our Veterans” year. I am looking forward to a very successful year.
I am the Rita Frank, Department Community Service Chairman. Last year was a very challenging but rewarding year, and I am looking forward to reading all of your reports and the work that you do in your communities.
You will notice that there is no Safety Program separately this year. It has been moved under Category A. So to be 100% reported in the Community Service Program for 2010-2011, you only have to report in Categories A, B, C & D. Hopefully, we will have many more auxiliaries make that 100% by December 31, 2010 this year.
We are again having the $200.00 award for the Auxiliary with the most outstanding Make a Difference Day Project. Make plans for Make a Difference Day early and make sure to send me a written report (separate from the Community Service Report Form) telling me in detail what your auxiliary did for Make a Difference Day. Let’s see what auxiliary can win this award.
It is easy to get reported, if you make sure to send in a report every month. Please do no wait until the end of the year to report. Certificates are given to auxiliaries that are 100% reported and participated by December 31, 2010. So get your report in early.
Remember this one line – “IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN - PLAN TO FAIL”. So fill out those report forms and send them in monthly.
