Dear Sisters,

When one of our Sisters goes to her final resting place, I will as the Graves Registration Chairman express the Department’s condolence by sending Memorial Cards to the family members. The deceased Sister’s name will also be listed in the Department’s permanent Graves Registration Book.

For this final tribute, I will humbly do this on our Sister’s behalf. I am praying that the Auxiliary Chaplains will notify me when the loss of a Sister occurs with complete and accurate information. I also look forward to receiving all Graves Registration Forms within 60 days of the Sister’s death.

I strongly encourage each member to read and become familiar with the Graves Registration Program and help out your Auxiliary Chaplain report the deceased Sister’s death as soon as possible.

PLEASE SEE THE IMPORTANT CHANGE BELOW:

The distribution of the Graves Registration Form by the Auxiliary Chaplain has changed due to duplicates going to Department and National. We are no longer required to send the fourth part to National and the distribution is now as follows:

District Chaplain’s Copy

Department’s Copy

Please take the time to perform one of the most final respects we can pay to our departed Sisters by reporting her death to the Department of Illinois Chaplain within 60 days.
